It's A New Entrance, A New Year, and A New Market! (at least till 4/30/10) 
| - Activity slowed during the last few months of 2009 but started heating up right after the New Year. Actually, The old rule, "the colder they get, the hotter we get" is still proving true. Last year increased sales tended to be in the $200,000 and under price range but so far in 2010 the higher price ranges have been picking up steam. In the last 60 days, (from mid November), five single family homes, plus a Villa D'Este home have been sold. Single family sold prices ranged throughout the $400's to highs of $535,000 and $550,000. In the same 60 day time period townhomes, villas and condos have logged seven sales, all in Verona, Villas on the Green, the Racquet Club and the Palms.
- Inventory supply is improving with more attractive properties. The traffic and inquiries at Deer Creek Real Estate are also on the rise. Our traditional seasonal Buyers are out looking, looking, looking. And who can blame them? Prices are right and the Homebuyer credit is not just for first timers anymore!
- Rentals are getting snapped up! I personally negotiated seven very nice annual rentals in the $1,300 to $1,500 range in the past months. Call me, Joan, for specifics.
